
Discipline Guidelines
Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Pharmacy, Kannad
At our institute, we place a high emphasis on student discipline both on and off campus. All students are expected to follow the institute and hostel rules, along with any updates to these regulations.
General Conduct
Students must adhere to all rules and regulations, maintaining proper discipline inside and outside the institute. Actions that interfere with the governance, discipline, or image of the institute will not be tolerated.
Ragging Prohibition
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited, both inside and outside the campus. Students involved in ragging will face immediate expulsion and disciplinary action as per the Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act – 1999.
Attendance
Students are required to attend all theory and laboratory sessions from the first day of the academic year. For absences, prior permission from the Principal is required, along with a medical certificate for sickness.
Silent Zones
The main lobby, corridors, and areas around the library are designated as silent zones. Loud noise or disturbances in these areas will result in disciplinary action.
Extracurricular Activities
Students must balance extracurricular activities with academic responsibilities. Activities should not interfere with the academic schedule.
Group Activities
Forming groups that disrupt academic or administrative activities is prohibited. Disciplinary action will be taken for violations.
Damage to Property
Students are expected to respect institute property. Any damage caused will be recovered from the student or their guardians.
Identity Cards
Students must carry their identity cards at all times and present them upon request. Report lost or damaged cards immediately.
Mobile Phone Usage
The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited on the college campus.
